Seventh Annual Conference on Economics and Security

Offers of papers are invited for a conference sponsored by Economists Allied for Arms Reductions (ECAAR), the Arms Production and Trade Group, and the University of the West of England. The conference will have a public lecture, plenary sessions with keynote speakers plus specialist workshop streams.

Proposed topics include:

• European Security
• Economics of the RMA
• Globalisation and the restructuring of the MIC
• Economics of conflict and post-conflict reconstruction
• Economics of the arms trade
• Procurement and offsets
• Arms races and alliances
• The peace dividend and conversion
• Policy responses

But offers of papers on other related topics are welcome.
